About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Strategist to join our team. As a Senior Reliability Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing reliability strategies to ensure the availability and performance of our critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain High Availability: Develop and implement strategies to maintain high availability of critical services, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Define SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs: Define Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure and ensure the quality of our services.
  • Identify Performance Bottlenecks: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system inefficiencies to ensure optimal service delivery.

Automation & Tooling:

  • Develop Automated Solutions: Develop and implement automated solutions to reduce manual operational tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Enhance System Observability: Enhance system observability through metrics, logging, and distributed tracing tools to gain insights into service performance.
  • Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless deployments and reduced downtime.

Leadership & Team Building:

  • Manage and Mentor Teams: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of reliability engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Promote Best Practices: Promote best practices and foster a culture of reliability and performance across the organization.
