Job Title: Senior Financial Strategist

Job Description:

This position requires a seasoned financial leader to oversee and drive the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounts preparation, tax compliance, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities include leading financial planning and budgeting initiatives, overseeing the preparation of accurate financial reports, managing cash flow and banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and legal requirements.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior management to drive operational success and leverage technology for financial optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Collaborate with senior management to prepare, review, and update the company's business plans and financial forecasts.
  • Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Internal & Statutory Audits: Coordinate internal and statutory audits, ensuring the company adheres to internal controls, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including GST, corporate taxes, and related matters.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage cash flow and banking relationships for credit facilities and day-to-day operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The following qualifications and skills are mandatory:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years in finance or accounting, with at least 7-8 years in a senior role.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, tax management, auditing, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI and ML applications in finance.

Benefits:

Working days will be Monday to Saturday, with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off.

Official working hours will tentatively be 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Employee must commute to work in their own vehicle.
