Financial Strategist Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with senior executives to develop and execute financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, bank statements, and treasury management processes.
  • Plan and oversee month-end activities and ensure timely delivery of financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct ratio analysis and perform logical reasoning to ensure accuracy in financial data.
  • Monitor compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax requirements.
  • Measure performance and prepare monthly key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.
  • Adhere to information security and control procedures.

Additional responsibilities include first-level appraisal of team members, identifying training needs, and conducting sessions as required. The Financial Strategist must possess excellent communication skills to effectively explain results versus budgets and forecasts to stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of double-entry accounting principles.
  • Good exposure to finance and accounting concepts.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
