Job Title:
Store Operations Lead
The ideal candidate will lead the sales team and drive the success of our flagship boutique. Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of retail operations, building relationships with high-net-worth clients, and closing high-value jewelry sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end ownership of the store
- Ability to build and manage relationships with HNI clients and close high-value jewelry sales (INR 5L-50L)
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the boutique team, setting clear goals and objectives to drive sales and profitability
- Develop and execute sales strategies and initiatives to increase revenue and achieve targets
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer service and exceed customer expectations
- Lead by example, actively engaging with customers to build relationships, provide personalized styling advice, and drive sales
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to enhance their skills and productivity
- Ensure that the boutique maintains high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and organization to create an inviting and luxurious shopping environment
- Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure adequate coverage and staffing levels to meet customer demand
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and events at the store
Requirements:
- MBA from a leading institution and a fashion graduate from a Tier 1 Indian college
- Proven experience in luxury retail management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct luxury sales preferably in Indian designer brands or real-estate consultancy firms
- Exceptional ability to sell and engage with HNI clients at a personal level
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with HNI customers
- Results-oriented with a track record of driving sales and profitability in a high-pressure retail environment
- Knowledge of fashion trends, luxury brands, and the latest developments in the retail industry
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
