Business Development Manager/Sales Specialist Role

Job Summary:

This position involves leading managed services sales activities in alignment with organizational objectives and the annual business plan for a specified geography.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in IT services with a focus on managed services, deep insights into IT infrastructure, outsourcing, SLA-based services, and NOC-based services. Strong communication skills, client management skills, confidence, self-drive, and the ability to engage with senior IT leadership are essential qualities for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Meet top-line and GM targets for the region by effectively prospecting and engaging clients.
  • Account mining and lead generation through effective prospecting and client engagement.
  • Farm (upsell and cross-sell) and hunt (new customer acquisition).
  • Manage customer relationships for the specified market, aligning with product OEMs to understand their roadmap and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver desired outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT services with a focus on managed services.
  • Deep insights into IT infrastructure, IT outsourcing, SLA-based services, and NOC-based services.
  • Strong communication skills and client management skills.
  • Confidence, self-drive, and the ability to engage with senior IT leadership.
  • Proven track record in managing the complete lifecycle of services deals from lead generation to deal closure.
