Job Title:

Production Operations Director

This role oversees the entire production process to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.

  • Lead a team of production staff and maintain effective communication across departments
  • Collaborate with planners to execute daily, weekly, and monthly material planning and achieve optimal targets
  • Resolve daily challenges through structured processes and SIM systems
  • Work closely with HODs from various departments to drive productivity and efficiency
  • Conduct regular production meetings to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations across manufacturing teams
  • Develop and implement key enhancement projects to improve production processes
  • Manage ECO documentation and implementation control, reviewing and recommending enhancements for existing procedures
  • Monitor and control non-quality costs through corrective measures with support tools
  • Take corrective actions through projects to address customer complaints
  • Implement and maintain SPS systems to monitor and improve all production KPIs
  • Drive manpower planning for the plant and implement multi-skilling for the workforce
  • Continuously monitor and refine daily production planning based on OTDM requirements and BOL
  • Drive projects to overcome repeated barriers hindering achievement of KPIs

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in production management, strong background in manufacturing operations, quality control, and process improvement.

They should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive results-oriented initiatives.
