Enterprise Network Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing and managing advanced datacenter networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, Nexus 5K/7K; Nexus 9K desirable) and in-depth knowledge of vPC, OTV, and FabricPath technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage advanced datacenter networking solutions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced Cisco datacenter technologies including Virtual Port Channel (vPC), Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV), FabricPath and others.
  • Ensure continuous availability, security and performance of datacenter network infrastructure.
  • Perform capacity planning, proactive monitoring and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of vPC, OTV, and FabricPath technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking protocols, datacenter topologies and enterprise-class environments.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting or equivalent programming for automation and network optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with network automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir).
  • Knowledge of network virtualization and emerging datacenter technologies (VXLAN, EVPN, SDN).
  • Experience in client-facing or managed services roles supporting mission-critical environments.
