Network Leadership Position

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Network Team Lead with a strong background in data center networking and Software Defined Networking (SDN) to lead our network team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cloud network infrastructure, including physical and SDN network frameworks. They will be responsible for architecting, designing, installing, maintaining, and managing cloud network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain cloud network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, flexibility, and network performance.
  2. Evaluate and ensure that the network meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  3. Develop and update infrastructure documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  5. Oversee a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed.
  6. Assess risks and business impact, and provide recommendations based on key performance and capacity metrics.
  7. Present differentiated solution proposals or technical presentations related to cloud network infrastructure.
  8. Manage and deliver technical validation activities, including proof of concept.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless equipment.
  • Strong understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, security technologies, switching, network monitoring protocols, and tools.
  • Familiarity with SDN technologies, preferably hands-on experience with one of the SDN providers - VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, project management abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and stay current with emerging networking trends.
  • Experience managing a team of at least four people in a similar role.
