Software Support Specialist

Overview

We're seeking a skilled Software Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Software and Support Team (ESST), you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional support to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-level support to customers in the INDIA area, resolving technical issues related to enterprise software.
  • Collaborate with front-line services teams on installs and technical issues, ensuring seamless support to customers.
  • Represent the Support team during critical issues, working closely with internal teams to deliver solutions to customers.
  • Develop and maintain the Support team's shared knowledge base, leveraging customer support experiences to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, including 4+ years in supervised laboratory environments (GMP, FDA 21, CFR Part 11).
  • Strong grasp of Agilent Software portfolio (OpenLab CDS and ECM), with experience in Mass hunter and MS tech a plus.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, self-management, and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively via WebEx/Teams.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, SQL, and Networking, with experience in Citrix, Terminal Services, VM, Hyper V a plus.
  • Experience with cloud deployments such as AWS and Azure highly desired.
