Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality control process for our electrical equipment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update SQP/SFQP documents for electrical equipment projects.
  • Monitor and ensure all quality processes are followed by the team as per quality plans.
  • Conduct inspections at vendor places and manage third-party inspection agencies.
  • Review inspection reports and prepare SAP IR and MDCC.
  • Monitor and control quality issues and non-conformities during inspection at the vendor end.
  • Perform failure analysis using RCA, CAPA, FMEA etc.
  • Vendor technical assessment for electrical equipment.
  • Continual quality improvement initiatives in BESS renewable projects.
  • Coordinate with site field quality team to support them on non-conformances observed at site.
  • Impart vendor quality rating for inspections and provide feedback to the techno-commercial department.
  • Ensure vendor performance evaluation for vendor improvements as per project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in electrical installation or engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with battery energy storage systems and renewable energy projects.
