Job Title: Assistant Manager Human Resources

Role Overview

The HR professional in this role will oversee all aspects of the company's human resources function, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Manage recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring seamless candidate experiences.
    • Collaborate with department heads to develop strategic hiring pipelines and optimize talent acquisition initiatives.
    • Identify and engage high-quality candidates through job portals, referrals, and agency partnerships.
    • Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
    • Own pre-onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Learning & Development (L&D):
    • Conduct training need analyses in collaboration with department heads to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
    • Design, implement, and track internal and external training programs to enhance employee capabilities.
    • Partner with external trainers, certification bodies, and learning platforms to deliver comprehensive capability-building initiatives.
    • Monitor training effectiveness through post-program feedback and performance metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements, such as ISO awareness and information security.
  • HR Operations:
    • Maintain accurate employee records, handle documentation, and ensure timely payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management.
    • Oversee coordination with Finance to ensure seamless integration with accounting processes.
    • Manage statutory compliance support through external vendors, adhering to labor laws and regulations.
    • Handle employee grievances, policy queries, and HR helpdesk responsibilities, providing excellent customer service.
    • Ensure a positive offboarding experience, including exit interviews, F&F coordination, and documentation.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture:
    • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
    • Support internal communications and organizational announcements, maintaining transparency and open dialogue.
    • Champion employee well-being, advocating for a healthy and inclusive work culture.
    • Drive annual employee feedback surveys and support action planning, promoting continuous improvement.
    • Support HR branding and internal campaigns in coordination with marketing teams.
  • HR Policies, Systems & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations.
    • Maintain and update the employee handbook, code of conduct, and HR SOPs, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    • Contribute to HR audits, ISO compliance, and documentation as required, demonstrating expertise in HR processes.
    • Drive automation and continuous improvement across HR processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
