Academic Leader in Anatomy

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professor to join our faculty as the head of the Department of Anatomy. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for providing leadership in teaching, research, and clinical skills training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Education:
    • Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
    • Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
    • Develop innovative teaching methodologies including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
    • Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per NMC guidelines.
  • Research and Publications:
    • Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
    • Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
    • Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
    • Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.
  • Clinical Skills and Simulation:
    • Oversee Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab (if applicable).
    • Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.
    • Promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
    • 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC/MCI norms.
    • Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
    • Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
