Job Title: Digital Transformation Strategist

This is a pivotal role in our organization where you will play a key part in driving large-scale digital transformation projects for government entities at both central and state levels.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for identifying, fostering, and incubating digital transformation initiatives that align with our mission of promoting public good through technology.

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with senior government officials to understand their challenges and opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Solution Development & Impact: Develop innovative digital solutions that can have a significant impact on government services and citizens' lives.
  • Ecosystem Development: Identify and develop partnerships with startups offering niche and innovative solutions that align with our purpose and specific government requirements.

Key Qualifications include prior experience working within the government ecosystem, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of emerging technologies and their use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing engagements, focusing on sustaining and growing relationships through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Engage new clients through strategic outreach, including cold calling, to build foundational relationships.
  • Achieve breakthroughs with new initiatives and projects in accounts with existing traction.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture strategic relationships at the highest bureaucratic levels within government.
  • Strong understanding of identifying, fostering, and incubating large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their use cases is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.

Reporting: This position will report to the CEO of the Wadhwani Government Digital Transformation unit.
