Site Management Leadership Role

This leadership position involves overseeing the effective implementation of site management excellence practices across various departments.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Develop and drive the deployment of site management excellence master plans for packaging halls and departmental levels.
  • - Lead change management processes, setting objectives and priorities as part of the site leadership team.
  • - Ensure alignment between all supply chain parts by coordinating departments to work together in deploying management excellence.
  • - Support departments in implementing MMS practices to meet their broad plans.
  • - Coach managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through management excellence practices.
Key Skills
  • Managerial Leadership:
  • - Demonstrate strong managerial leadership to develop teams against role capabilities.
  • - Ensure effective implementation of management excellence training and development programs by aligning site and line management.
  • - Coordinate management excellence TOT and evaluation programs to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with capability programs.
Focused Improvement
  • Performance Improvement:
  • - Provide expert loss and waste leadership and coaching to operational teams.
  • - Participate in and lead improvement projects using DMAIC methodology.
  • - Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste, and improve operational flexibility.
  • - Engage in Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.
  • - Practice maturity assessments - develop and implement a practice maturity improvement strategy for the site and conduct regular assessments.
Team Meetings and Communications
  • Communication and Engagement:
  • - Implement weekly/monthly/quarterly communications to drive engagement and momentum of the management excellence journey.
  • - Support task forces and shift-based teams in their deployment of management excellence through regular meetings and communication of activities.
  • - Define and establish the site leadership team's schedule to support and lead the deployment of management excellence.
