Job Title: Construction Project Manager

About the Role:

A construction project manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the project team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work in progress to ensure that it meets quality and safety standards, as well as any regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to ensure a secure work environment for all personnel on the construction site.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance, resolve engineering issues, and make decisions related to construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Site Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and change orders.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve unexpected issues that may arise during construction, offering practical solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Client Communication: Keep clients informed about project progress, address their concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BTech/ BE)
  • 0-4 years of experience in construction management
  • Proficiency in construction management
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
