Job description:

We are looking for an experienced HR MANAGER to handle day-to-day HR functions with a strong focus on managing worker-level employees at construction sites. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the construction industry, managing a site-based workforce and ensuring HR practices are aligned with labor laws and organizational goals.

Job Title: HR Manager

Industry: Construction

Location: Vennala, Kochi

Experience: Minimum 3 years in experience in the construction industry and total 8 years of experience.

Preferred male candidates

Experienced in managing worker-level employees across construction project sites.

  • Monitoring daily labour and office & site staff attendance (including labourers, supervisors, engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers).
  • Validating Daily Progress Report and overseeing site-level HRMS records.
  • Planning and allocating manpower at project sites.
  • Managing attendance, leave, and early late reporting for site and office staff.
  • Preparing payroll files and coordinating salary processing.
  • Recruiting site-level staff.
  • Addressing site staff grievances and supporting performance reviews.
  • Maintaining office discipline and decorum.
  • Approving petty cash and arranging and managing staff accommodations where required.
  • And such other jobs as assigned by management from time to time.
  • Requirements and Skills:
  • BTech Civil, Dip in Civil, BBA, MBA
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in project-based industries (construction, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR practices related to field and site operations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in HRMS tools and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
