Job Title: Assistant Facility Manager
Job Description:This role oversees the daily operations of a facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for employees and visitors. Key responsibilities include site operations management, contract administration, and vendor management.
Responsibilities:- Site Operations Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage maintenance schedules, and implement quality control measures.
- Contract Administration: Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with vendors, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Health and Safety: Implement procedures to ensure employee safety, conduct regular risk assessments, and maintain accurate records.
- Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reports on facility operations, including metrics and trends.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in property, building, or facilities management.
- Contract administration experience, preferably in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with tendering and service improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of occupational safety requirements.
- Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems.
