Job Role: Support Specialist

Job Overview

The Support Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure. This position involves monitoring and maintaining server performance, resolving technical issues, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Server Monitoring: Regularly check CPU, Memory, Hard disk size, Log size, and other vital server parameters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Performance Issue Reporting: Report any performance issues on the servers to the appropriate teams if beyond thresholds.
  • Scheduled Task Monitoring: Monitor scheduled tasks on the system and ensure their successful completion.
  • Error Handling: Rerun failed tasks and report technical errors to the L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Ticket Management: Monitor the email, Teams channel, and ticketing system for new items/tickets, update them with initial responses, gather details from business/end users or other teams if required, reproduce issues in testing environments, and validate issue fixes based on customer inputs.
Required Skills
  • Customer Interaction: More than 3+ years of experience interacting with customers.
  • Technical Background: Java, Scripting, and SailPoint or IAM system support experience are considered advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
