Oracle HCM Specialist

Job Description">

We are seeking a skilled specialist to configure and develop solutions for our organization.

• Configure and develop solutions based on business requirements
• Analyze and resolve production issues within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Collaborate with the HCM product owner to plan and prioritize the backlog
• Work with HCM module leads and cross-functional leads to understand requirements and deliver results
• Ensure efficiency in daily standups, refinements, and retrospectives
• Maintain configuration workbooks and documentations as relevant
• Prioritize workload and deliver results according to deadlines
• Support and guide junior resources in resolving tickets and managing new Continuous Integration (CI) requirements

Role Accountabilities">

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Oracle Operation & Optimization colleagues, and third-party vendors to ensure deployed solutions meet business needs
• Collaborate with the wider Oracle Operation & Optimization team to ensure consistency and standards followed for documentation and approach

In this role, you will be a key member of the Oracle Operation & Optimization domain team, implementing solutions to address business priorities while improving the end-user experience, functionality, and efficiency.

Applications Support & Maintenance">

• Demonstrate business process knowledge and relevant Oracle domain configuration knowledge to efficiently deliver on Oracle solutions
• Work with Arcadis third-party vendors in assessing and validating proposed solutions or creating proposed solutions to address incidents/problems
• Participate in Oracle Quarterly Update process working with the Test Manager and KBUs to prepare and execute effective test scripts
• Join Oracle support sessions to understand Oracle product development and thereby improve business efficiency
• Proactively assess the technical landscape and ensure processes/integrations are optimally configured

Applications Enhancement & Continuous Improvement">

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Process Owners, Business Process Experts, and Oracle Operation & Optimization teams to deliver CI projects in relevant Oracle domain portfolios. Work on configuration changes as assigned
• Contribute to Proof of Concepts (POCs) and functional design workshops with POs and/or Functional Solution Managers as assigned
• Prepare documentation of configuration changes for CI projects, including deployment guides and/or Knowledge-Based Articles (KBAs) for knowledge transfer to vendors and Global Shared Delivery (GSD) as assigned
• Participate in technical solution development, documentation, and technical testing to ensure that solutions follow best design practices

Key Shared Accountabilities">

• Partner with other OEA Lanes, Teams, and OOO Domains to exceed business expectations
• Make Oracle functional solution decisions with OOO Lane
• Oracle Quarterly Update testing with OOO Test Manager and KBUs
• Oracle Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training materials for business

Requirements">

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits
• Specialist knowledge in one or more of these modules (Compensation, Core-HCM, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Goals & Performance, and HR Helpdesk)
• Configuration experience in benefits (e.g., Benefit structure, Rates/Coverages, Eligibility, Enrollment & life events)
• Experience in executing changes associated with Annual enrollments (preferably for US and Canada)
• Collaborate with stakeholders from the business on a frequent basis in requirements discovery, refinement, documentation, and implementation
• Active Participation during quarterly update cycles in the review, impact assessment, and implementation of new features
• Good level of understanding in the benefits integrations with benefit vendors and payroll systems

Preferred Qualifications">

• Fast formula experience in building and debugging benefits fast formulas
• Experience in BI/OTBI reporting
• Experience in building and maintaining HCM extracts
• Experience in data loads using spreadsheet loader and HCM Data Loader
• Understanding of project delivery using Agile methodology
• Oracle certifications are preferred
