Job Summary

A seasoned Backup Administrator is required to oversee the end-to-end backup infrastructure. This role demands strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backup solutions, including Commvault, NetBackup, and Veeam, as well as experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Main Responsibilities
  • Backup Administration: Design, implement, and manage a robust backup solution to ensure 24/7 availability and data integrity.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex backup-related issues in large, distributed environments.
  • Monitoring: Perform daily health checks on backup infrastructure and respond to failures promptly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal backup performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam, and other backup applications, as well as cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex backup-related issues.
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience: 4-8 years of experience in backup administration, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Certification: Good intermediate certification in Commvault or NetBackup.
