Job Summary:

We seek a seasoned Backup Specialist to support our organization's backup solutions, focusing on Commvault, Netbackup, and Veeam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex backup infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and troubleshoot backup & recovery processes in large, distributed environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including VMware, Linux, Windows, and Storage/Network departments.
  • Monitor and manage daily backup operations across infrastructure facilities.
  • Execute and troubleshoot escalated restore jobs, failed jobs, and initiate corrective action.
Technical Requirements:
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of multiple backup applications on client/cloud servers.
  • Implement and maintain backup infrastructure for Netbackup, Commvault, Veeam, and other solutions.
  • Experience in catalog recovery and migration activities.
  • Knowledge of data centre operations, including tape library configuration and day-to-day operations.
  • Competent in configuring disaster recovery and fault-tolerant features.
Qualifications:
  • 4-8 years of experience in backup administration.
  • Intermediate certification in Commvault/Netbackup is a plus.
