Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced professionals to manage, monitor and support enterprise backup solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with backup software and be capable of working in a team environment across different support tiers.


Key Responsibilities:
L1 (2–4 Years):Monitor daily backup jobs and health checks.
Handle basic troubleshooting for failed backups.
Perform restore jobs as per request and SOPs.
Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3.Maintain documentation and logs.

L2 (4–7 Years):
Troubleshoot complex backup/restore failures.
Configure and manage backup policies, deduplication, and storage targets.
Coordinate with application, OS, and storage/network teams.
Perform catalog/database recovery and patching.
Work with vendors for issue resolution.

L3 (7–10 Years):
Design and implement enterprise backup strategies.
Optimize and automate backup infrastructure using scripting.
Lead major incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Perform migrations, upgrades, and DR drills.
Define and enforce best practices and compliance standards.

Technical Skills Required:
Strong hands-on experience with backup software, databases, operating systems, virtualization platforms and cloud services.Familiarity with data protection concepts, data deduplication and disaster recovery strategies.Skilled in automation tools like scripting languages.
