Financial Operations Leader: Accounts Payable

Our organization requires a highly skilled Financial Operations Leader to manage the accounts payable process from receipt of invoice to payment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Verify and classify accounts payable data, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payable status and ensure expense accounts are accurately allocated.
  • Provide training on new reports and dashboards to end-users.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure up-to-date payments and conduct regular team huddles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA Finance (with B.Com as Graduation) preferred.
  • Rich experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with large enterprises or multinational corporations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Previous experience in governance meetings and managing relationships with Key Account Managers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations related to collections and dispute resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting best practices and their integration within required systems.
  • Hands-on experience in navigating complex collections and dispute scenarios.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
