Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst with extensive experience in managing fund-level accounting and portfolio company oversight. This role will focus on delivering accurate financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage monthly close processes, oversee full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar software, and maintain accurate records of interest, fee, and equity income across structured deals.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and investor-ready financial statements that adhere to strict regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior accountants, CPAs, and partners to ensure seamless tax preparation, filings, and fund administration.
- Review financials from 1-5 portfolio companies, identify variances, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Develop and implement standardized reporting templates to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting across multiple industries.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct fund accounting experience in private equity, private debt, or fund administration required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
- Background working with companies in the $10M-$100M revenue range.
- Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
- Clear, concise communication skills with excellent documentation abilities.
- An operator mindset that adds value beyond compliance and reporting.
- Able to balance recurring closes with special projects while maintaining integrity, accountability, and an ownership mentality.
