Employee Relations Associate

The Employee Relations Associate will play a key role in supporting high-volume ER case work and other administrative tasks for the global ER team.
Key Responsibilities- Handles low-complexity ER cases in accordance with established processes, including US attendance, job abandonment, and rehire eligibility requests.
- Utilizes case management systems as primary communication channels to ensure proper documentation and processes are followed when delivering ER guidance.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date case details, status, and documentation in real-time.
- Meets service delivery performance and satisfaction measures, expectations, and standards.
- May communicate directly with leaders or employees in other countries to resolve issues or seek clarity before offering guidance.
- Learns to advise on formal processes in accordance with Labcorp policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinates information with other ER team members to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Supports global tasks for the ER leadership team as necessary.
- Assists managers and employees in finding relevant policies, tools, documents, and other resources.
- Collaborates on continuous improvement opportunities or ER projects as appropriate.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- 1-2 years of HR experience at a global company with an interest in employee relations.
- Experience with MS Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with HRIS and case management systems, preferably Workday and Service Now.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive issues.
- Ability to ask probing questions to ensure detailed and accurate information is placed into case details.
- Ability to problem-solve independently and escalate to ER leadership when necessary.
- Flexibility and willingness to deal with competing priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
