Role Overview

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Survey Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical jobs, calibrating and mobilizing equipment, and maintaining smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification and traceability of faulty equipment, inspection, repair, and status check.
  • Job preparation and testing of equipment prior to mobilization.
  • Mobilization of equipment.
  • Calibration, installation, operation, and maintenance of field-deployed equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting and operation of field-deployed equipment.
  • Data acquisition as per scope, specification, and schedule briefed by PC/PM.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and participating in Operations, Quality Assurance, and HSE group meetings.
  • Archival, backup, and custody of field-logged data.
  • Preparation of mobilization and demobilization reports, and handover of data to the FSINPVT Survey Manager.
  • Preparation of survey procedures and reports in the office as directed by RM/SM.
  • Any other work assigned by the Company.

Working Relationships

The Offshore Survey Engineer will work on the field when deputed and coordinate with crew members to prepare daily reports and execute projects.

Qualifications

Graduate or Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent course or Indian Navy.

Skills and Experience

Preferably 2 years of experience in offshore surveys, knowledge of relevant equipment and software, and high-level technical reporting skills in English language.
