Job Title: Offshore Survey Engineer - Geo-Data Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Offshore Survey Engineer to join our team at Fugro. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for conducting technical jobs, calibrating equipment, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all gear.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and troubleshoot defective equipment, performing repairs and maintenance as needed.
  2. Prepare and test equipment before mobilization, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
  3. Mobilize equipment to the job site, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  4. Install, operate, and maintain equipment deployed in the field, performing basic troubleshooting as required.
  5. Acquire data according to project scope, specifications, and schedule, providing accurate and timely reports.
  6. Ensure a safe working environment at the job site, participating in Operations, Quality Assurance, and HSE group meetings.
  7. Archival and custody of all data logged in the field, maintaining accurate records.
  8. Prepare mobilization and demobilization reports, handing over data to the FSINPVT Survey Manager upon completion.
  9. Develop survey procedures and reports in the office, as directed by the RM/SM.
  10. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the company.

Principal Working Relationships:

Collaborate with crew members to prepare daily reports, execute projects, and ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications and Skills:

Hold a Graduate or Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent course. Preferably 2 years' experience in offshore surveys, with knowledge of relevant equipment and software. Strong technical reporting skills in English language required.

Role-Specific Competencies:

Problem-solving, teamwork, information, and communication skills, with a focus on client satisfaction, project planning, and QHSE performance.
