The MMR Data Science team is successful and fast-growing. It comprises statisticians, data analysts, developers, and programmers. We are now looking to expand our Online Survey Programming function, which is a key area of development for us.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting new projects while being well-supported by a large and multi-disciplinary Data Sciences team with global reach.
We are looking for candidates with programming experience and an interest in data science/digital technology.
The Role:
- The primary responsibility is creating online surveys using specialist market research programming software (our main platform is Confirmit, although experience in using this is not essential).
- Project Management is an essential part of the role, and our internal stakeholders are the global research teams. The role will include liaising with our team, researcher teams, and suppliers to meet exact project requirements and timings.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of numeracy are required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be highly data-literate and have a good working knowledge of Excel.
- Be a fast and accurate typist, comfortable using a keyboard.
- Have great attention to detail – checking data, tests, and validating databases is part of the role.
- Possess strong self-management and organizational skills.
- Possess good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Have excellent communications skills – including fluent spoken and written English.
- Be good at working with others – maintaining open and honest relationships with your colleagues and clients.
- Have a desire to continuously learn and improve, taking up opportunities for new experiences.
- Whilst training will be provided, you will have the aptitude and ability to learn to use the specialist survey programming software and manage the resultant data files that the process creates.
Desirable Requirements:
Fair knowledge in HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Fair understanding of responsive design and web standards.
