
Regional Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth in the region through effective execution and quality monitoring of footfall generation plans.
- Provide timely and strategic inputs for store business planning, aligning with sales goals.
- Conduct structured competitor analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities.
- Generate leads for regional managers, highlighting potential for new stores and untapped business areas.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Support local marketing execution to drive footfalls in alignment with business objectives.
Franchisee Management
- Act as key relationship manager with franchisees on operational aspects, ensuring alignment with SOPs and business standards.
- Encourage franchisee investments in new projects and store enhancements.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with franchisees to ensure business consistency and growth.
Merchandise Management
- Undertake regular store visits to review merchandise effectiveness and recommend assortment changes.
- Flag merchandise gaps based on store performance and consumer trends, collaborating with central merchandising teams.
- Optimize stock levels at the regional level, leveraging data insights.
Store Operations
- Monitor store opening timelines to ensure punctual and smooth launches.
- Oversee operational adherence for cash management, stock management, cost controls, housekeeping and visual standards, and staff attendance.
- Lead new store openings, including recruitment and end-to-end management of the store opening checklist.
- Conduct regular SOP audits, identify operational gaps, and initiate corrective action.
- Ensure consistent meeting of store operating standards.
Consumer Insights
- Drive CRM compliance and aim for high customer registration rates.
- Analyze customer behavior across stores to understand demographic/psychographic variations.
- Use insights to localize store strategies and optimize product or service offerings.
- Build rapport with top customers to strengthen loyalty and engagement.
- Work with marketing to adapt strategies that resonate with local consumer needs and preferences.
Team Management & Performance Enablement
- Recruit Store Managers in consultation with Regional Managers.
- Conduct quarterly performance appraisals and reviews for store managers.
- Motivate and engage retail teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Set weekly sales targets based on market trends, store capability, and business objectives.
- Monitor budget compliance and set monthly spend plans.
- Facilitate training with Store Managers and Customer Care Associates:
- Identify specific skill gaps.
- Promote best-practice sharing across stores.
