Job Title: Employee Relations Manager
About the RoleThis is a senior-level position that involves leading labor relations strategies and negotiations for India and South Asia. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Indian labor laws, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement labor relations strategies to promote positive employee relations and compliance with labor laws.
- Lead labor negotiations with unions and ensure consistency across business entities.
- Provide guidance and training to HR teams on labor laws, employment regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with HR managers to develop policies and procedures related to labor relations.
- Monitor and report on labor trends, union activities, and regulatory changes affecting the region.
- Masters' degree in Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Indian labor relations, including at least 4+ years at a corporate level.
- Demonstrated expertise in labor negotiation, contract management, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
