Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our IT service projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects while managing project-based teams.

The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, and will be accountable for meeting project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

    • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

  • SLA and KPI Management:

    • Ensure that all projects meet contractual SLA obligations and internal performance standards.

    • Monitor and report project progress against established KPIs.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Act as the primary liaison for customers on project-related issues, updates, and escalations.

    • Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication and feedback.

  • Risk and Issue Management:

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.

    • Escalate critical project issues promptly and effectively.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.

    • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, IT, or a related field.

  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile certifications are required.

  • Experience:

    • At least 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT service delivery.

    • Demonstrated success in leading and developing diverse teams.

    • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

Skills:

  • Expertise in project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Proficiency in team management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Project).

  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Competencies:

  • Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

  • Awareness of ITIL framework and ISO standards.

  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
