We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as a Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing company.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to support business teams in drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements related to business development, international business, trusts, and other activities. You will work closely with stakeholders at various locations to ensure statutory compliances are in place and provide general legal advice and support to internal stakeholders.

This is a high-level position that requires strong negotiation skills, business and financial acumen, and excellent communication and drafting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements within India and cross-border, and will be well-versed in how business operates with a high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Agreements - Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements in line with business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the Company.
  • Statutory Compliances - Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
  • Risk Mitigation - Understanding business and analyzing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the Company.
  • Advisory - Advising stakeholders from time to time on various issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • LL.B. / LL.M.
  • Drafting, vetting, and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross border.
  • Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation, and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high-quality agreements and other documents.
  • Well-versed in how business operates with a high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Ability to have influence across all levels of the business including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented, have good judgment, and sound risk-mitigating skills.
