Land Acquisition Professional Required

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Land Acquisition Manager to join our team for Cement Business in HO, Ahmedabad.

The ideal candidate will have a total of 7 to 12 years of experience with minimum 5 years' experience in Land Acquisition and Land Management. Experience in Cement Industry is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Monitor land acquisition across multiple sites and coordinate with regional teams.
  • Have knowledge and experience in Private Land Acquisition, Govt Land Allotment, Forest Land Acquisition, Private Land Acquisition via LARR.
  • Assist in resolving land issues at multiple sites, including litigation related to title, encroachments, ceiling limit exemptions, NA etc.
  • Prepare periodic MIS to exhibit acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation.
  • Collate and verify title search documents etc with the support of the Legal Team.
  • Manage stakeholders with Land Aggregators, Regional Land Teams, Business Development Team, Legal Team, Project Team, Finance Team regarding land acquisition progress and land issues resolution.
  • Support Regional Team in mutation, collection of original sale deeds, coordination with finance team for fund release, CAPEX budgeting.
  • Visit regional land acquisition sites to monitor acquisition progress and support in resolving land issues.
  • Coordinate with land aggregator and regional land team for private land acquisition as per business requirements.
  • Report directly into Head Land Acquisition for Cement Business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Understanding and knowledge of land laws.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation, submissions, government regulations and compliance requirements.
