
Deputy Conference Liaison Manager

Objective:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Delegate Relationship Professional to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for inviting and securing high-profile delegates and buyers to attend our upcoming flagship events.
Your key responsibility will be to build relationships with these VIPs, communicate the benefits of attending, and secure their participation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the event by delivering a strong, high-quality audience for our sponsors and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Relationships
You will identify, engage, and build relationships with senior-level executives, VIP delegates, and buyers.
Sales and Outreach
You will proactively reach out to potential delegates—spending at least 50% of your time making calls (including cold calls)—to explain the event program and secure their attendance.
Event Management
You will book VIP delegates to attend the event (at no cost to them) and ensure they have a seamless event experience.
CRM and Operations
You will maintain accurate records of all communications and bookings in the CRM system and work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure sponsors meet their target audiences.
Representation
You will represent the organization professionally, acting as a trusted point of contact for high-profile attendees.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
A Bachelor's degree is required.
B2B Sales Experience
You must have 1-2 years B2B sales experience.
Delegate Acquisition Experience
You must have proven experience in delegate acquisition, sales, business development, or relationship management (preferably within events, exhibitions, or conferences).
Communication Skills
You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with senior-level professionals.
Negotiation and Persuasion Skills
You must be confident in speaking with C-level executives and decision-makers and have excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Technical Skills
You must have proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
