About the Role:

The GSD L&D Operations Manager is a key member of Gartner's Global Services and Delivery Learning and Development team, responsible for supporting the development and delivery of world-class learning experiences.

This role requires a player/coach approach, collaborating with the GSD L&D Leadership team, L&D team members, the GSD Executive Leadership team, and other business unit stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team leadership, program administration, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Primary consultant for the Operations team in needs analysis and project scoping.
  • Player/coach to a team of Operations Specialists and contractors.
  • Career planning and development for Operations team members.
  • Support the GSD L&D team with capacity planning, program administration, and reporting.
  • Drive operational excellence and identify process improvements.
  • Lead change management and gather feedback for innovation.
  • Ensure programmatic excellence, rigorous evaluation, and consistent quality in L&D administration.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with GSD L&D team, BU partners, and stakeholders.
  • Work on complex problems and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Track L&D program development and outcomes and evaluate program components.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to identify problem areas and prioritize opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy or business operations, with at least 1-2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience as an operations specialist, data analyst, or business analyst.
  • Excellent people management skills, including recruiting, coaching, and staff development.
  • High degree of technical savvy and experience using technology to solve business problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and data reporting tools.
  • Experience with automation processes and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
