Oracle SCM Technical Consultant Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) expert to develop and implement solutions for Planning, Inventory, BOM, Costing, Production Controls, and discrete and process manufacturing.
  • The ideal candidate will design and develop software applications using detailed application design, database design, object-oriented concepts, and Abstraction/Dependency Injection patterns.
  • This position involves integrating applications with integration software such as OIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent middleware solutions.
  • The selected candidate will develop extensions using VBCS and work with relational database management systems using Oracle database technologies and services, SQL queries, and NoSQL.
  • We use Draw.IO or other design tools to create visual representations of software systems.
  • The consultant will implement testing during development and ensure high-quality code.
  • This role involves working with CI/CD pipelines and JIRA or comparable tools to manage project workflows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience developing Oracle ERP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development, database design, and object-oriented concepts.
  • Experience integrating applications with middleware solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of relational database development using Oracle database technologies and services.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, including written documents, oral presentations, and formal meetings.
