Oracle SCM Technical Consultant

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Oracle SCM technical consulting, focusing on advanced implementation and integration projects.

About the Role

The Technical Consultant will work on complex projects involving Oracle Fusion OM customization, VBCS Extensions, and Order orchestration. They will also develop extension using VBCS and have experience integrating applications with middleware solutions such as OIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Oracle ERP systems for planning, inventory, BOM, costing, production controls, and discrete and process manufacturing.
  • Integrating applications with integration software to enhance system efficiency.
  • Designing and developing extensions using VBCS.
  • Creating relational databases using Oracle database technologies and services, SQL queries, and NoSQL.
  • Collaborating with designers using Draw.IO or other design tools.
  • Ensuring thorough testing during development phases.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and JIRA or comparable project management tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Strong background in Groovy scripting and programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Order orchestration customization in Oracle Fusion OM.
  • Expertise in VBCS Extensions and middleware solutions.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong software development skills in application design, database design, object-oriented concepts, and Abstraction/Dependency Injection patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
