Oracle SCM Technical Consultant Role

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for delivering innovative supply chain solutions using Oracle Fusion Application technologies.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and integrating complex software applications, as well as experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable code under the hood using Oracle Fusion Application technologies.
  • Develop Oracle Fusion related Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) supply chain extensions using Oracle Fusion Technology stack.
  • Integrate with middleware solutions such as OIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent.
  • Architect, build, and deliver products that delight customers with scalable and maintainable code under the hood.
  • Provide oversight, assistance, and guidance to development of application security architecture.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality through design reviews, code reviews, and development of standards.
  • Serve as a mentor to team members by demonstrating alternate techniques, reviewing code, and strengthening skills.
  • Research and recommend appropriate application development best practices and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience developing Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong software development skills in detailed application design, database design, object-oriented concepts, and Abstraction/Dependency Injection patterns.
  • Experience with Draw.IO or other design tools.
  • Strong focus on testing during development.
  • Experience with CI/CD, JIRA, and other comparable tools.
  • Passionate about exploring new technologies.
  • Knowledge of application server configurations, memory/connection management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.
