Oracle EPCM Technical Consultant Position

The ideal candidate for this challenging role will have hands-on experience with Oracle EPCM, including Essbase, PCMCS/EPCM, and PBCS implementation. Key responsibilities include designing and configuring Oracle EPCM modules, providing in-depth technical knowledge of Oracle EPCM, managing data mappings, validations, and transformations within EPCM, and ensuring that the EPCM solution aligns with the organization's business processes and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • EPCM Module Configuration: Designing and configuring Oracle EPCM modules, including defining cost drivers, allocation rules, and reporting structures.
  • Technical Knowledge: Providing in-depth technical knowledge of Oracle EPCM, including its features, functionalities, and integration capabilities with other Oracle Cloud modules.
  • Data Management: Managing data mappings, validations, and transformations within EPCM and integrating it with other systems.
  • Solution Alignment: Ensuring that the EPCM solution aligns with the organization's business processes and objectives, particularly in areas like cost allocation, profitability analysis, and profitability reporting.
  • Implementation Expertise: Implementing Oracle PCM/EPCM starting from designing allocation rules, building custom (MDX) rules and allocation rules, and fine-tuning for performance.
  • Integration: Working on direct integration to ERP GL and other EPM applications using Data Management.
  • Audit Trail and Balancing Reports: Good understanding of audit trail and balancing reports for allocations.
  • Project Implementation: Implemented projects with Oracle PCM and developed artifacts starting from Metadata creation/updates, setting up rules, designing web forms and data grids, creating reports and dashboards.
  • Financial Statements and Close Cycle: Understanding of the financial statements, close cycle, and related best practices.
  • Consolidated Financial Statements: Experience creating consolidated financial statements for customers.
  • Project Management: Responsible for understanding project plans, timelines, regular status reports, risk, and issue logs, and working with the appropriate teams to ensure timely delivery within budget and customer satisfaction.
  • Subject Matter Expert: As a subject matter expert, employs independent judgment in guiding moderately complex activities involved in the successful implementation of business solutions, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • MBA Finance /Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject. Finance background also applicable.
Preferred Skills:
  • FCCS, EPRCS, ARCS.
  • SQL, PL/SQL, Autosys Scheduling, Unix/Windows Shell Scripting.
