Oracle Finance Cloud Functional Lead

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Lead to join our team at Capgemini.

This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, as well as a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Fusion Finance solutions that align with the organization's financial objectives and overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Oracle Financials solutions that meet business needs with focus on industry best practices.
• Lead the enterprise design/process design along with client business team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Fusion Financials with other 3rd party applications.
• Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance to development teams and consultants working on projects.
• Create and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and configuration guides.
• Stay informed on Oracle updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends in finance and technology.
• Develop optimal solutions to meet client objectives, including understanding project scope and identifying key dependencies.
• Propose high-level solutions & delivery estimates.
• Lead demonstrations during client presentations & orals.
• Lead conversations with client CXOs, Senior VPs, and Directors across business and IT.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Hold a CA (or equivalent) or Master's degree in Finance.
• Have at least 16 years' experience in Oracle Financials (Fusion + EBS).
• Have end-to-end understanding of the RTR, P2P, OTC, Acquire to Retire processes.
• Have deep expertise in Oracle ERP modules in Financials plus a working knowledge on Procurement.
• Be familiar with Module Knowledge – GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Tax.
• Be a hands-on person who can drive functional requirements fitment with Solution/Implementation background.
• Have carried at least 3 end-to-end implementations on Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Have experience in implementing finance shared services.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex business problems.
• Have excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
• Be willing to travel for client meetings and project engagements.
• Be agile and ready to go that extra mile when needed.
• Show leadership traits with ability to anchor and lead solutions from the front.

About This Role

As an Oracle Finance Cloud Functional Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our clients' financial systems.
