About the Role
As the Senior Fleet Maintenance Manager at Moove, you will oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring seamless vehicle functioning within Hyderabad. Your role involves coordinating with various teams, managing maintenance schedules, and implementing efficient processes to uphold our high standards. We're looking for a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and a knack for problem-solving to enhance our city's operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle service, maintenance, and repair, handling escalations and managing conflict resolutions with customers.
- Built, manage, measure, and maintain relationships with suppliers and repair outlets to maximize fleet uptime.
- Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Moove assets.
- Manage the insurance process in line with policy requirements.
- Ensure that all insurance claims are completed expediently and vehicles are brought back to operation in the minimum timeframe.
- Manage authorizations of maintenance to ensure that appropriate work is being done on the fleet at optimized costs.
- Continuous improvement mindset with respect to processes and systems to create efficiencies and synergies.
- Ad hoc investigations and solutions as required from time to time.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Critically evaluate the tracking solutions in place to monitor the driving habits of our DPs and, where necessary, provide retraining.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred.
- An associate's or technical degree in motor mechanics is a must.
- Hands-on fleet industry experience is a must.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Candidates will be subject to analytical tests prior to interviews.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office, Google Office Suite, and web-based applications, preferred.
