Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee mission-critical cloud infrastructure for customers worldwide. This role involves providing 24/7 managed support for these cloud environments, leading a team, and ensuring customer satisfaction exceeds benchmarks.

This position requires exceptional leadership skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, containers, virtualization, and related systems. A strong understanding of monitoring systems, storage, networking, backup, and scripting languages is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in providing L3 technical support, preferably in a cloud-first data center or cloud support services organization. They will be proficient in managing a team of at least 4 people in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILD relationships with partners, enable collaboration, and identify opportunities.
  • Evaluate team member performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Interact with customers via various channels and resolve issues holistically.
  • Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, provide technical guidance, and offer expertise as needed.

Must-Have Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in monitoring systems (Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine) and skills in Storage, Networking, Backup, and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 4 people in this role.
