Job Title: Senior Manager-Infra

The role of the Senior Manager-Infra / Cloud Architect is pivotal in shaping the organization's global IT infrastructure and cloud landscape through strategic design, roadmap definition, and engineering governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain a comprehensive global infrastructure and cloud architecture blueprint that aligns with business continuity, scalability, cybersecurity, and performance goals.
  • Drive platform rationalization and simplification initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure solutions for large programs, encompassing DC transformation, AD consolidation, hybrid cloud migration, and other strategic projects.
  • Review and approve HLDs, LLDs, and BoM submissions from partners or internal teams, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Validate architecture compliance across global IT programs, guaranteeing seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies such as Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, Edge Computing, and Infra-as-Code, exploring opportunities for adoption and implementation.
  • Establish proof-of-concept initiatives and oversee the onboarding of new technologies, fostering innovation and growth.
  • Establish and enforce architecture principles, standards, and reference models, serving as a guiding force for the team.
  • Conduct thorough architecture reviews and design approval boards, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain strict compliance with InfoSec, GxP, and SOX frameworks, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Specialized Knowledge Requirements:
  • Extensive expertise in enterprise architecture spanning compute, storage, network, identity, and cloud domains.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid models, with a strong grasp of their intricacies.
    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance mapping to infrastructure design, ensuring robust security measures.
    • Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD), streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
    • Comprehensive understanding of ITIL, TOGAF, and regulatory requirements in pharma/life sciences, applying this knowledge to drive informed decision-making.
