Cloud Security Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our organization and contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.

This role is crucial in ensuring the security of our cloud environments, protecting against suspicious activities and threats, and promoting secure cloud practices across teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud infrastructure and architecture, coupled with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing Identity and Access Management Controls: Ensure secure user and system access using IAM controls.
  • Collaborating with Cloud Architects and Developers: Design security solutions for cloud environments, integrating security controls into cloud platforms.
  • Monitoring Cloud Environments: Detect and respond to suspicious activities and threats using SIEM systems.
  • Automating Cloud Security Processes: Leverage tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible to streamline security processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Promote secure cloud practices among DevOps, network, and software development teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, focusing on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
