Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely release of containers/BL after obtaining necessary approval, checking due or overdue collection status.
  • Invoice/POD submission to customers, resolving related queries and coordinating with respective departments. Follow up on subsequent payment collections.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups for due/overdue payments.
  • Circulate weekly/monthly outstanding reports to businesses, followed by review calls.
  • Support the GL team in resolving bank reconciliation open items.
  • Follow up on TDS certificates with customers and perform quarterly reconciliations.
  • Process customer reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Perform final settlements of customer accounts.
  • Regularly circulate customer balance confirmations and ensure activities are done regularly to collect debts within the shortest time possible, meeting both internal and external audit requirements.
  • Notify business teams of cheque dishonor and monitor collections. Circulate monthly tracking reports.
  • Handle disputed accounts to bring pending collections in line with terms.
  • Block/unblock customer masters in cases of cheque dishonor, overdue outstanding, or inactive status.
