Project Accounting Specialist

About this role: As a Project Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our project accounting processes. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial integrity of our projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all projects;
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information;
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters related to project accounting.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Application in Project Accounting modules that include Project Costing and Project Billing Modules;
  • Experience in handling at least 2 to 3 Implementation/Upgrade/Roll out projects in version 12.1.3 & above;
  • Good communication skills to interact with business users;
  • Proficient in English language;
  • Expertise in business facing roles, conducting workshops /CRP/SIT/UAT/Go Live;
  • Knowledge in configuring/making changes to the configurations as per requirement;
  • Worked on preparation of configuration documents, Functional design documents for CEMLI components;
  • Good understanding of Auto-Accounting concepts in Projects & Subledger accounting;
  • Basic knowledge for writing/executing queries using Sql developer.
