Job Title: Federal Government Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Compliance and Review: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to federal regulations, examining contract documents, task orders, and amendments for FAR/DFARS compliance.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed compliance trackers, audit files, and status reports for stakeholders, maintaining organized contract repositories and document management systems.
  • Audit and Monitoring Support: Assist with internal reviews and external audits, tracking deliverables, certifications, and contract obligations to ensure timely compliance.
  • Proposal and Pre-Award Support: Review solicitations (RFPs/RFQs) for relevant FAR/DFARS clauses and prepare compliance matrices and checklists for proposal teams.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in contracts, compliance, or coordinating with legal teams on contract terms, clauses, and risk. Experience with U.S. federal contracts is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Federal Regulations: Good understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and U.S. federal contracting principles.
  • Compliance Expertise: Familiarity with compliance areas, including EEO, Service Contract Act, export controls, cybersecurity requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and contract management tools (e.g., SharePoint, SAP Ariba, Deltek Costpoint).
  • Communication and Documentation: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
