- Own and manage the entire profit and loss statement for a geographic region, setting revenue, margin, and customer acquisition cost targets to drive growth.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy across various channels, including direct-to-consumer, marketplaces, offline, and emerging markets.
- Forecast demand and oversee end-to-end inventory management to ensure minimal stock-outs and aging stock levels.
- Define product-market fit by localizing hero SKUs, crafting new-product roadmaps, and phasing out underperforming lines.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to adapt products to regional regulations and preferences.
- Coordinate 360-degree marketing efforts, allocating resources for maximum return on investment.
- Establish data pipelines and real-time dashboards to track cohorts, repeat rates, and marketplace rankings.
- Negotiate logistics and service agreements with third-party providers.
- Lead cross-functional teams in growth, operations, customer success, retail, and trade functions.
- Champion customer-centricity by leveraging voice of customer insights to inform product updates and customer experience enhancements.
- Pursue strategic partnerships with wellness chains, tourism boards, and Ayurveda clinics to expand reach.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including cosmetics claims and general data protection regulation requirements.
- Present quarterly business reviews to senior leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and future opportunities.
- Foster a test-and-learn culture, running A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.
- Develop disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply chains, ads, and key seller accounts.
- Monitor competition and deliver actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
- Represent the brand as a cultural ambassador, embodying its values while driving high-performance execution.
Requirements:
- A degree from a top-tier college or institution.
- 10 to 17 years of relevant work experience in Retail (FMCG, Retail, E-commerce) or related industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage information for reporting and decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and contribute to team success.
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through on commitments.
- Excellent organizational skills, with superior time management abilities and capacity to multitask under tight deadlines.
- Self-accountability and commitment to regular updates to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project-based tools such as Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
