Buying and Merchandising Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Buying and Merchandising Manager to lead our Home Décor category. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, as well as experience in inventory management, product sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop seasonal and category-wise buying plans for furniture, lighting, planters, and tableware.
  • Analyze sales trends, inventory movement, and forecast demand for efficient stock planning.
  • Maintain trackers for vendor management, payments, logistics, returns, and damages.
  • Conduct trend and market research to curate relevant product assortments.
  • Manage vendor development, negotiations, sampling, POs, and timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with stores and warehouses for stock audits, replenishment, and inventory flow.
  • Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams on launches, campaigns, and product uploads.
  • Support design and content teams with updated catalogues and visual assets.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in Buying and Merchandising (preferably in home décor, furniture, or lifestyle retail).
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory/merchandising systems.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with B2C, experiential, or lifestyle retail formats is a plus.
