About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Merchandiser Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and managing buyer accounts, procurement of orders, and providing inputs to design teams for collections.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in merchandising and marketing, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and must be organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and manage buyer accounts, including procurement of orders and following through till payment receipt.
  • Provide inputs to design teams for collections.
  • Tap contacts and current buyers for orders based on the best price possible.
  • Regular visits to factories and communication with buyers for new market trends.
  • Keep the office updated on changing market trends.
  • Maintain a pulse on buyers' buying patterns and financial conditions.
  • Give tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
  • Coordinate with production, dispatch, and quality departments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry's best practices.
